The Education Foundation of Kenosha was organized in 1980 to support the Kenosha Unified School District and its mission. The Foundation has financed a wide-range of educational and enrichment projects not able to be funded through the District's normal budgetary allotments.
The Foundation serves to encourage creativity, innovation and motivation among educators in the District through support grants that enable added dimension to occur within educational experiences for students. The Foundation also administers funding for a wide variety of scholarships available to District students.
The Education Foundation of Kenosha exists to enhance the quality and variety of educational opportunities for all students, regardless of age, living within the boundaries of Kenosha Unified School District by providing scholarships and programs that stimulate academic achievement in various ways beyond those funded by normal tax and government revenues.
