Debra Giorno Memorial Scholarship Application

PURPOSE
In cooperation with the Education Foundation of Kenosha, the family of Debra Giorno is sponsoring a $500.00, one-timescholarship to provide assistance to a Kenosha Unified School District student who will be graduating this year. The scholarship will recognize an outstanding student who is planning to pursue a teaching career in education. 

ELIGIBILITY
Kenosha Unified School District students graduating this year who intend to enroll in an accredited college or university and prepare for a teaching career. They must be academically capable, demonstrate financial need, and demonstrate and interest and/or experience working with students. A GPA of at least 2.5 must be maintained. 

FINANCIAL DATA
The scholarship award amount is a one time award of $500. The award is to be used for tuition, fees, and college residential costs at an accredited college or university, and will be issued directly to the university.  Payment of scholarship will be made to university/college after one completed semester. Students must provide transcripts upon completion of first semester.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Complete this application and submit by March 15th.
